The Big Choir is a Community Fundraising choir open to anyone who loves to sing.  There are no auditions and we welcome singers of all abilities.  We have opportunities for soloists, but if that's not for you that's not a problem,
We do expect our members to commit a certain amount of their own time to learning, as the choir moves at quite a pace, when learning new material.  We donate all  profits to the Francis Crick Institute (The Crick) in Kings Cross for cancer research, it's the reason we started the choir back in 2016. Little did we realise at the time what a chord this would strike with so many people wanting to do their bit by singing with us.



By joining our choir your singing is literally saving peoples lives. The choir has so far donated £410,000, and we aim to reach the half a million pound mark by 2026 which marks 10 years of The Big Choir!!
The money we raise goes via Cancer Research to the scientists at www.crick.ac.uk, a pioneering biochemical research facility, for research into all types of cancer.  

As well as the fundraising, there is a lot of laughter, although we do take our singing seriously! We have a great social side to the choir and have so enjoyed watching friendships blossom across all of our groups.  One monthly fee gives you access to both choirs, We have one in Barnet and another in St Albans.

We have a very diverse repertoire ranging from pop to rock to country and gospel!  The songs we sing are fun, upbeat, heartwarming and inspirational.
